I got hsv2 diagnosed since 10 years - it was never a problem, got all in all 5 little outbreaks .
Have a new gf for approx. 6 month. I got in this time frame like 15 outbreaks. My docs think it’s herpes but very asymptomatic. My gf got oral hsv1 , pretty sure she infected me during oralsex but with no symptoms !
My doc wants me to test suppressive therapy. I think that is a good idea but now my question is: when I take those drugs and my gf infect me with external hsv1 (no symptoms , so spreading the virus without knowing it) during oral sex for instance I’m also protected in this case ?
In attachment pictures of the herpes ■■■■, hoping it is sth other but iI don’t think so.

Please help me at least with the question , if iI am protected with the drugs from direct infections.
