I recently noticed a bump near my rectum/anus grew in the past couple days to a week. Initially started small, then grew in size but remained color of my skin, yet painful to touch. I’ve had unprotected sex with one partner since Novemeber, and tested negative on all std panels, but have had unprotected oral sex with different people.
Had a fever and feeling of being sick after the bump presented itself, previously had covid within a month & tested negative for covid and the flu however someone in my house did test positive for covid recently. Went to urgent care to get tested, had a fever of 101 & the doctor said it resembled a herpes blister and swabbed the area.
I doubted it and went to another doctor who described it as a cyst or abcess said he did not know why the previous doctor gave the herpetic diagnosis. results come in a few days can anyone help?!? blister on tongue as well
