Is this HPV or HSV or what am I afraid and confused

Hello, I am 16 years old. I have blisters on the head of the penis that are soft and have no other symptoms. I suffered from them for 5 months and started reading it on the net. I fear genital warts will develop into cancer. I did not feel any pain when I applied a cream containing salicylic acid known to treat all types of warts. I asked my partner and had no symptoms. Please reply from someone who has had the same sex before, just masturbation and foreplay. I don't keep the area clean. I saw similar cases in the forum, and everyone answered that they did not look like any warts or herpes, which made me happy, and I am afraid of visiting the doctor so please reply quickly from anyone who knows the information .

Hi HH,

Nothing to worry about. Your glans penis (the head/helmet) looks perfectly normal. Applying salicylic acid is not a good idea. It’s quite caustic and can damage the skin. Please don’t use it any more- it’s meant to be used for warts on the feet/hands, not your manhood!

Do note that you are going through adolesence, so expect a number of physiological changes to your body including changes in the apperance of your genitalia. The fine spots on the glans penis that you’ve highlighted are part of these changes.

Best wishes,
Adhari.
