any ideas?
update- OBGYN did not know and thinks it might be irritation so i was prescribed steroid ointment and i go back in 3 weeks for a re-check and if its still there or worse a biopsy will be done to confirm if warts.
just wanted to share an update in case anyone has anything similar (i attached more photos). I was convinced I had warts as this bumpy lesion has been there for 3 months. A few doctors were not able to deny or confirm HPV by just looking at it. My new OBGYN gave me steriod cream and that did not help, granted I only used it for a week. The doctor thought the next step should be a vaginal biopsy. My biopsy was done tuesday. It was done under local and they took a punch biopsy of the affected area and i also had a pap smear done. Pap smear was normal. Just got my biopsy results today and It is not warts (They also tested for cancer, LS and some other things- all negative. The biopsy said that it is inflammation. I suspect its from using boric acid suppositories often. I have a new steroid cream for the area once my biopsy area heals.
I have the same exact thing- I’ve been dealing with it for over a year now. Also had a biopsy done which did not confirm HPV- instead only confirmed irritation. May I ask what steroid cream they prescribed you for once your biopsy heals? It has been a long year trying to get any answers on this.
The first cream that was prescribed before my biopsy was TRIAMCINOLONE 0.1% CREAM. I did not think it helped and it turned the irritated skin white so I thought it was making it worse. The second cream that was prescribed after my biopsy was CLOBETASOL 0.05% CREAM. I have yet to start this one yet because I am waiting for the biopsy area to scab over since the hole is still open. I hope it helps and I wish you luck! I have stopped using and doing anything that might cause the irritation to get worse or persist but it still doesnt go away.
hi, i have a very similar situation underneath my penis head its all around it, i have done all STD tests and they are negative, the NHS doctors have no idea what is causing it. my GP is suspecting it could be an irritation or an infection that could have occurred due to a small cut that wasnt healed properly and got infected. i am seeing an urologist on 1st of July and will update you on what he tells me. please let me know if you figure out anything
I hope you get answers! I think the next step may be for the Doctor to take a small biopsy of it and to see what it is (if they have not). I am waiting for my biopsy site to heal and then ill start the prescribed steroid cream and I hope it makes a difference.
thank you! hope you get healed and well soon , i will update you after i see the urologist
