not really freaking out just genuinely curious if this is hpv? they were soft and not hard at all. I kinda just ripped them off.
short back story - I had a biopsy back in June and multiple paps done prior to the biopsy and everything came back all clear. the bumps showed up almost immediately after the biopsy. I had to be put under so I thought maybe they accidentally tore something down there or whatever. anyways, that's what they looked like.
idk if it means anything else but I do have noticeable Fordyce spots and I get skin tags and bumps pretty easily. I know that they were there when I had my check up pap right after my biopsy and the Dr didn't say anything about them?
just wondering if I need to go back in and ask for them to look again.
Angie- Those appear to be HPV. I would absolutely go back to the doctor as some forms of the HPV virus ultimately cause cancer.
i had a bump that looked similar and it was hpv. your doctor should be able to diagnose by looking at it or you can get it biopsied like i had to do to confirm. the hpv strains that cause warts do not cause cancer like the other comment says…
It definitely looks like genital warts.
