i have a cut on my hand i was just wondering if this looks infected?
If it is closed up with no discharge and no bad smell…I would say not infected.

yes. white or yellow thick/smelly discharge is abnormal. Clear to yellow watery discharge is ok. That’s serus fluid. You can clean it with detol or any other antiseptic agent, then cover until fully scabbed over. Make sure you use a breathable dressing. Non breathable will allow the wound to sweat which can be a great environment for bacteria to grow. Also, use sterile gauze from your pharmacy and gloves. Wash hands with anti-septic hand wash too. A good anti-septic clean won’t do it any harm and it will prevent further infection.
