Is this lack of vit D symptoms?

I am seeing a chiroprator for a heniated disc in my lower back that has healed now and just streanthing my core muscles..... i saw him today and told him im getting sharp pains in oth feet and calfs, and back.... somtimes like a weakness tingling pain... its nothing to do with my back and he said it could be low vit D.... i did have a test a month ago and it was on a low level but doctor says its normal this time of year.... yet 2 years ago i had hardly any vit D and had to tave a very high dose.

Vit D deficiency can cause painful aching muscles, what is your vit D reading? It is recommended you have a lower limit of 75 to be normal, although my health authority have the figure as 50. Tingling pains can be all sorts of things of course. Vit D deficiency does seem to be a popular diagnosis nowadays along with the other one, "you must have a virus!" It seems vit D deficiency has taken over from vit C deficiency and is written about everywhere I look. I read somewhere that half of UK is vit D deficient.

Low levels of vit D are normal for this time of year because we have had no natural source but it's no reason to have a low level. I think your doctor should have addressed this  so I would go back and ask what the level is and if it's too low ask for a supplement. Your level should be around 50-70.I hope this helps.

I would be cautious with taking the Vit D deficient with weakness and tingling I would get it checked out with an mri or ct or xray.  I had this all down my left side and they thought I had had a stroke but it turned out to be a herniated disc in my neck and now I am in a wheelchair and have lost the use of my legs.  Please please get the symptoms checked I hope yours is a vit D problem and all is well but best to get checked out
