Hi there, I had a barium swallow on Friday just gone and afterwards I was told to drink plenty of water (which I did). The following day I had two bowel movements within 2 hours of each other, (I usually go once a day), then today I have only had what I can describe as rabbit pellet poo. Is this normal after barium? I was expecting to be a little constipated, but the day after, not two days later. If this is down to the barium then when can I expect it to get back to normal?

Im not a doctor hunny... but ive been threw the same crap... you may wanna try a laxitve... it may have blocked you up to a point you have a plug! massage your belly and lean back and forth sometimes that helps girl.
Thanks Sarah. Going to get the fybogel out today. It's freaked me out as I've heard constipation is a symptom of colon cancer, and hey presto! Constipation I have a colonoscopy on the 21st, so I'd like my bowel movements back to normal before then as it's making me very worried x
