Came off citalopram just over 6 weeks ago after trying them & sertraline for 6 months. No pre existing depression just took them help ocd caused by zopiclone withdrawal. For me they gave me load more symptoms made me feel worse and worse. Since stopping did have brief spell felt bit better, but last week or so just felt flat, like whats the point, lot time off my food just wondering if this window & wave effect and will eventually pass seems mixed comments as to how long low withdrawal lasts was only on very low dose. They really didnt agree with me felt better before starting them so no advice go back on them please

Still the same, thinking coming off here as doesn’t seem be anyone where their symptoms were caused by withdrawal from prescription drug. Most people seem have had pre existing anxiety/depression that I never had. Think it’s case these anti depressants work very well for lot people but not necessarily everyone as seems case with most drugs.
