Been suffering servere anxiety for a few weeks with a constant fallen sensation being my main symptom but was ok yesterday then last night Had a weird sudden falling sensation in half of my head last night and then had breathing problems e.c.t. But is it normal to have a sudden fallen sensation in half of your head with anxiety?
Hiya, I use to have these with anxiety. I use to call them 'head drops' as that's what it felt like or like an elevator dropping in my head. When I started ignoring them and just thought to myself its only anxiety they went. I only get them now when I'm very tired but I still don't focus on them just continue with what om doing. I use to get an anxiety rush during or straight after too.
Made me feel so much better I'm convinced it's a brain tumour , do you sometimes just get it in half of your head?
I have on occasion but its mainly been the full sensation for me. I know how awful it feels having suffered for quite a while with it. As I said the more you worry the more it will do it. Just try and shrug it off, know it can't harm you and carry on with whatever you're doing.
Yeah it's horrible, do you sometimes feel like your falling backwards just in general and it can last for so long
Mine was a sensation of falling forward. I was going through a really bad time when I was having them and had loads of other symptoms too like dizzyness, brain fog, blurred vision. I actually ended up with a brain scan and it was normal. They said in the end that it was my ears causing it. So the brain drops lingured for quite a while until I could get myself out of the anxiety.
Like with all anxiety symptoms, it will last for as long as you focus on it. Start ignoring it now and it will go quicker x
Thankyou for your advice x
