Is this really Labyrinthitis? . 9 weeks in.....

Hi All.

9 weeks ago i woke up feeling a bit uneasy and unbalanced.  Not too bad just not great.  After a few days i got my self to the docs as i have to take meds to control high blood pressure so i wanted to get that checked. That was fine so they did a few checks and gave me anti dizziness tablets.  I didnt know at that time what they thought i had.  A week later i still felt ill. I was still able to work but sometimes i just couldnt concentrate as well.  My symptons have been frequent mild headaches, feeling tired, unbalanced / dizzy, lightheaded, foogy head and hunger. So i went back to the docs who this time gave me a proper check over. Checked my eyes, coordination, BP all seemed fine.  Checked my ears and said my right ear was full of wax. He sent me for a blood test to check blood sugar, amemia etc and said to get drops for my ear and come back to have it syringed. At that point he said that i had Labyrinthitus. He told me to look at this website to see the symptoms.  I guess i have some of the symptoms but i certainly dont feel sick at all. In fact when i eat i feel better, (which i told him) Anyway a  few weeks passed and  my blood test results all came back fine and had my ear cleaned out which felt great! I was hoping that was my problem... No sad although i've had better days im still not feeling great and today and yesterday i feel like i've gone back to the start.

Whats worrying me is the headaches.  Are there others who have had headaches but not felt sick. My dizziness really isnt that bad, but i just dont feel right. (imagine if you are really hungry and feel lightheaded, its a bit like that that i guess) Maybe i have mild labyrinthitis... Hope someone out there can relate to this...

Do you spin or feel like things around you are spinning or do you just feel dizzy and off balance? I did discover through some research that vestibular migraines cause vertigo and it's common in individuals who have experienced Migraines in their teens or early 20's. its just another form of a migraine. The good news! If that's the case is that medication is available to reset the brain. I suffered horrible migraines as a teen and through my 20's and will get a headache, most of the time, after a vertigo spell.

Hi there.  Nope, no spinning. Just a little unbalanaced. Im 39 and have always had headaches on and off.. nothing too bad maybe twice a week.
