Hey ladies

Unfortunately my good days didn't last, I had about 4 days then my period arrived and is still kind of here.

I'm having some headaches and sinus pain and now a really sore throat.

Anyone else suffer with head pain?? it's a new one for me. Any advice much appreciated. Anything you take that helps?? Sheena x

Sounds like,a cold or sinus infection, mabe allergies this time of year. The big M doesn't cause sore throat or runny  nose. Mabe headache though but mostly all signs of a cold.

Yes... Absolutely! I get a sinus pressure headache with pain and pressure behind my eyes too. It makes me feel like if I could just pull my eyeballs out it would relieve the pressure. I also get a funny head feeling....Like a fullness and feeling of pressure in my ears and a kind of spacey feeling, like my brain is disconnected from my body. (If that makes any sense). I've had CT scan of my head and it was normal. This comes and goes and does seem to be hormonally related.

Yes, I had this for a long time ..i use to get sore throats and cold like symptoms along with sinus infections, and always around my period time!!

I use to get scared that something wrong so i went to ENT dr and after tests everything was fine..it lasted for about 8 months on and off and i havent' had it since..As far as the headaches i have them all the time..sometimes they last for 2-3 days special araound my period..

I forgot to mention that i did had MRI and scans of my head and everything normal..so the more you worry the more strong the headaches get because of the stress, everything gets so tight on the back of your head and neck.. believe me i've been to every dr emergency rooms specialist the  only thing i didn't look at is witch craft try to get a massage or yoga that really helps so much

hi sheena.  Sorry to hear the good days didn't last.   I woke  with a bad sore throat, came from no-where and a stuffed up nose..  Throat cleared up after an hour or two and the stuffed up nose.  Then it came back hours later.  So not sure that it is not hormone related but really thinking it is.  I get headaches once a month but never had the throat thing before.

Hi u do get flu like symtoms i was told that during a period your sinus walls gets swollen causing lots of complicarions which can cause anxiety when u cannot breathe..my ENT dr gave me nasal spray which helps u can find out..

You can get a generic brand of flonase (nose spray)at the drug store. My husband all of a sudden at 48 started having sinus problems. Started this medicine about 3 mths ago and feels wonderful now. It shrinks the blood vessels in the sinus cavity which allows for better breathing.
