Try the Bio-match ph balancing and moisturizer by good love. You can google it and order it. Or a co-op, whole foods or sometimes CVS has it. It is a gel that you put in your vagina. It's supposed to balance your PH and get rid of BV. I had BV for about two years and this did it!! It contains lactic acid which is what the good bacteria in our vagina needs. Give it a try and let me know how it goes!! I did it for three consecutive nights and now do it once a week or so. I have been BV free ever since.

Yes! No more burning/pain during or after intercourse. Just make sure the gel bottle says "ph balancing and moisturizer". Good love has a lot of look-alike products--like lubricants and washes. But you want the ph balancing. Yes, let me know how it goes!! It might burn/tingle at first but this usually means it's working. It burned down there for like 20-30 seconds and I thought I had to wash it off but I just let it burn and then it went away gradually.

I had the same problems and a friend told me about an asian remedy which I was able to track down and buy online. It's a cigar shaped stick you insert for about a minute. I was extremely skeptical after dealing with this problem for years and was ready to try anything. I noticed within two days the odor had disappeared and mucous had lessened. It's been over 12 months now of just using this product for a few days in the first few weeks and I cannot believe it has not returned. The product is called Isla Soap stick, I bought it online as I could not find it anywhere in chemists. I think because it is like a chinese asian medicine. Trust me it works. Have you found anything yet? I was reading and I noticed it had been a little while since the last post. Dealing with the same problem as you. Constantly going to the doctor. Taking medication for long periods of time... Which is awful. It actuly makes my abdomen ache...it won't f*****g go away!!!
What ultimately worked for me was I stopped having sex for several months. I used a round of antibiotics then after that was finished I used boric acid suppositories 3-4 times a week for several months. I also skipped my period pills so I wouldn't get my period. ( getting my period was a trigger) I had my ph balanced checked at the end of the 4 months, had sex after that & it never came back. I used the boric acid still but only once a week typically. I’m 38 years old and have been struggling with BV since I was 17. It’s a horribly embarrassing problem and completely ruins self esteem and confidence. When I was young I had no idea how to combat it. The drs look at u like you’re filthy after you’re there a couple times with it, as if IT isn’t humiliating enough. There was no internet then, and no where to turn. As I got older and had more resources to look for cures and prevention, I realized different things work for different women and nothing that worked for everyone else worked for me! I finally, after spending years of recurring infections and more money than I can count found something that’s worked for me, and anyone else that suffered from BV that I led to it. And it was so simple and cheap. I got 30 boric acid suppositories from eBay for ten bucks, and a huge bag of baking soda from Sams Club. I washed my privates with baking soda, and used a boric acid suppository nightly. During this time I am also trying to eat yogurt with live cultures once daily and sometimes even took a drink of apple cider vinegar. It worked so well that any time I develop a symptom I follow this regimen and it’s gone before it starts. My oldest daughter also got BV regularly. This worked for her as well and also for a friend of mine who could not seem to get rid of it. I have told these forums for years reading what works for everyone else. I’ve never replied to anyone until now. Now I feel like I have something useful to say and I really hope that this works for someone else. It’s a pretty Big deal because nothing ever worked for me. I go to the dr I just feel even worse i feel dirty when I know I’m not and I have no Idea what could be causing this. I have tried so many things but I never heard of boric acid after baking soda. I have tried acv and it didn’t work for me also eating yogurt. I am very thankful and honored that you decided to reply to me!!
