OK so am feeling really mad and confused at the moment. Why are so many people suffering with these gastric issues so long?! How is it that there is no better treatment for gastritis than Ppi that don't even work half the time? I am still suffering with stomach pains/reflux and torn up esophagus for four months. I know people going through worst health issues and even some cancer patients are having their symptoms controlled better than we gastritis sufferers! I cant take much more. Why is this so hard to heal!?!! Is there not some steroid pills to stop the inflammation immediately??? Grrrr just so lost and t doesnt make sense....

I’ve been suffering from gastric/reflux issues for almost three months now.
It’s definitely very frustrating and can get a bit too much sometimes. I’ve had days where it gets really bad and affects my mental health to some levels.
Yeah PPI’s don’t always work because my symptoms are still here despite taking medicines regularly. It sucks but gastric issues can take a long time to heal.
Lifestyle changes are most recommended and it’s the most efficient way to deal with gastric issues but it does get very annoying. Diet changes can help too.
I’ve visited multiple doctors and it still isn’t clearing up.
I can’t take it anymore either but all we can do is hang in there and do whatever we can. Good luck.

hi, it started randomly with upset stomach/nausea this summer. It was a weird nausea like I never there was something wrong with my actual stomach not like a general nausea and anti nausea pills didnt help much. Then the bad reflux and little stomach pains started. It took many many weeks for the PPi to take effect. It helps but hasnt healed me yet. No endoscopy yet because I dont want invasive tests. I will if i absolutely have to one day but seriously trying to avoid. Treatment is the same more often than not and from what I hear they cant even tell yo WHY you have gastritis unless it is bile or h pylori!
