So about 3-4 days ago I started to notice it stung and burnt when i wiped myself after going pee. Then one morning i noticed my labia was HUGE. it was swollen and red with this bartholins cyst about the size of a large grape, and there were also a few others down lower. I did some research and read heat would help them burst, so i layed in bed with a heating pad for about an hour and a half. They seemed to have burst, and have gone down alot in size and im not so swollen and red. but now every time i pee it burns and stings extremely bad, and i dont know what to do to get rid of the pain. any suggestions?????
It could be because it is still open and the wound needs to heal together. This has happened to me. One time when I was in hospital and had the BC drained then stictches the nurse told me to pee in the shower as it will make it less painful while it heals...she was right! If it contiunes like this after two days I would see your doctor to be on the safe side xxx
you have to call the doctor, explain to the receptionist (even though it is embarrassing). It has to be cleaned properly and asap.
Wish my nurse had told me that!
