So I've been told I have a weird case, no doctor has been able to give me an answer as to what is going on. Three years ago on Valentine's Day, I had my first PAP smear. Everything seemed fine until a couple hours later, I began vomiting uncontrollably, had REALLY bad cramps, cold sweats and couldn't regulate my body temperature. Anti-emetics didn't help me either. This went on for two days. I called the hospital and they didn't have much of an answer for me, just told me to keep hydrated the best I could and that it was an abnormal reaction they have never heard of before. So it's been 3 years and some months later and I now puke UNCONTROLLABLY every time I get my period, coincidentally usually on the 14th of each month, give or take a day. And by uncontrollably, I mean: can't keep water down for more than 20 minutes, the slightest of bad smells make me vomit, and if I put literally anything other than water in my mouth, it will come straight back up. I miss work for two-three days at a time because of it, not to mention all the throwing up completely ruined my teeth. I'm worried that if this continues much longer, the stomach acid will give me more health problems. I can't even sleep when this is going on, I literally am up all day and night puking. If I had to guess how many times I puke during the first 2 days of my period, it'd be upwards of 30+. Does anyone know what this could be? Sometimes birth control helps it but it's really a hit and miss thing. I had extremely normal periods before my first PAP. Also, so far the doctors I've seen have said that 1) they don't know why, 2) The doctor who performed the PAP might've majorly screwed up, 3) something about a cervical nerve. Sorry for the long one but I'm sick of suffering, I want it to end
