Itching

I think I posted this before, but I’m still itching a lot around hip scars but also back of legs and midriff. One op last June and the second one November. Both hips quite sore still especially after car journeys as one might expect!

Doctor can only suggest antihystamine which I took for a couple of weeks but no difference. 

Alternative medics say that steroids for polymialgia (and finished in December).,plus 2 general anaesthetics and antibiotics for infection on second hip wound, could be the cause.. still lurking in my system!! Anybody had similar experience?

I had the same itch and I know we’re not sleeping together.  All kidding aside, I just used a cortisone based cream for a couple of weeks and it went away

This may sound crazy but my scar and thigh itched so bad I tried everything. Benadryl, all kinds of anti itch cremes nothing worked...Tried Preparation H worked!!! Oh what a relief too. Its amazing on mosquito bites also.
