i have a very itchy anus mainly at night the only relieve I’ve found is hand sanitizer which I’ve been using for a year or more but i think its having an affect on my skin now is very sore. Anyone with any advice it would be most appreciated my other remedy was salt directly on to the anus but that brought me so much pain i fault i was going to pass out.
Had this problem on and off for years now, and as you say always worse at nights. Cutting out sugar and caffeine helps but ive found applying olive oil a good quality like virgin olive oil at night def sooths the area and trying buying some alternative cleansing gel as an alternative to using just loo paper. i had anal itching for 20+years when no creams would help. About 1.5 years ago i was prescribed Halobetasol and was instructed to never use baby wipes due to a certain ingredient that causes itching. Those two things combined cured me! I have been itch free ever since. Good luck!
Good to hear. I had the exact same symptoms and nothing worked . Turned out I had a fungal infection which was miraculously cured.
