So as the title says it started on my right shin as a couple little itchy red bumps. Couple days pass, the red around the bumps spread into each other, more bumps show up, do the same thing, until after about a week I have about a 3 1/2 inch ring, and the skin in the middle is discolored. Couple more days, 2 more red bumps higher up, start spreading the same way. First ring starts fading color, but still spreading outwards. Couple more days, 2 bumps on left leg shin, they spread together too forming another ring. And another on the side of my left knee, followed by more bumps on my ankle/calf.
It doesn't always itch, but when it does, its like bad mosquito bites.
I haven't done anything outside.. I go to my car, to work, to home, to sleep. Only thing I can think of, is that my cat has been very itchy for the last couple weeks, and she does sleep by me every night. We haven't seen fleas or anything else.
Doctor had to have another doctor look at it, neither had any idea what it was. they ruled out ringworm, and prescribed me 100 Mg Doxycyc Mono for Lyme Disease. (that was their closest guess.) However, I never saw a tick, and does Lyme Disease really keep spreading around?
