I have really itchy scabs on my scalp I have tried tablets, cream, gel and special shampoo from gp. Nothing has got rid of them can anyone help me?
Hi, itching of scalp may results from seborrhic dermatitis of any fungal infection. Is there any skin lesion on scalp? Itching may be caused due deficiency of selenium in diet or stress .i like to suggest you try some home remedies such as apply apple cider vinegar or baking soda on scalp for 20 minutes and wash your hairs with luke warm water. Never use to cold or to hot water for bath.
you could perhaps have psoriasis of the scalp. Go and see a Dermatologist who can determine the exact nature.
