Itchy skin

Hi all havent posted in a while been struggling with various things am up to 150mg of the Sertraline and iv just about turned a corner.Just have a question does anyone have prickly itchy skin ? Started 2 days ago and its driving me mad i dont have a rash although my skin is very flaky when i do itch it.Any advice would be appreciated x

Hi, I'm not on any meds but sometimes I get itchy skin with and without a rash it tends to be on my arms when they feel dry, I use any cream and take an antihistamine and it usually subsides. It also happens when I'm panicky and burning up when I calm down it stops. very strange.

i would say talk with your doctor. you are on a very high dosage for a short time which could cause you to have side affects. let them know this is happening.

Thank you i have been a bit more anxious this last couple of days and you know what its like the more you worry the worse it gets xx

Hi im not sure its a side effect iv been on them 6 months now but il see how it goes thank you.

I have this too but not taking any anti depressants. I wondered if it was to o with the thyroid gland? i

oh my bad I read it wrong I thought you had said you had only been doing it for two days so 150 mg is a lot for only two days but the itching is what started two days ago so my bad I thought you were talking about something else

No worries 😀 yes it was the itching that started 2 days ago.
