keep anxiety and depression in check

get a lot of sunshine and outdoor time during the day and exercise.

Sue, I'm without a doctor since last July and my frustrations with lack of sleep irritates me also. My shrink put me on Quetiapine (not an opiot) for sleep, but once again I'm putting up with side-effects. Mine are muscle spasms that keep me awake most nights. I'm going to go back to the emerg and request the Triazolam that worked for me for a couple of decades, wish me well pls...

Natural products don't have the right kkkkick for me, damn.

A few beers before bed with Quetiapine help but cause me muscle spasms.

Finally get to sleep in the late morning.

yoursleep pills are needing reavaluating.

good luck, and any further info I can give you.

Tim

HI Sue. I suffered from waking up at 5am for years and Hope4Cure below has given you brilliant advice. I certainly drink too much coffee and do stop in the afternoon which has helped. A good book does the trick for me and perhaps for you. Best of luck with staying sober and well done.   smile

Tim do you take potassium, alcohol depletes so many vit. and minerals in our body, I had trouble with muscle spasms I took a good multi and the potassium it realy  helped for the last week I have had none ( I think not drinking atol has helped as well) but even before the vit's realy helped

Best of luck to you

Sue

To Sue and everyone with this same situation. Yes, alcohol does deplete vital vitamins and minerals in our systems. My cousellor recommended a B Complex vitamin supplement but I personally don't like them because of their size - hard to swallow, so drink some water to lubricate your throat, then swallow fast.

I will try a multi vitamin and see how that helps.

Thanks Sue

Thank you smile
