So I've had a iud in me for a few months now and I just got herpes.I do not get periods anymore because of the iud. Will the iud effect breakouts like make me have more or less of them?
I don't believe the iud will effect the heroes virus in any way. The virus is pretty random since we still don't know much about it. Your birth control shouldn't effect you.
My partner and I have HSV2 and she has an iud with no problems and it does not affect her outbreaks.
