Please help me guys I am in a very confusion . Is that IUDs responsible for hyperthyroid and anxiety ???
I am already hypothyroid patient and on synthyroid and in last September I had iud mirena on and in Jan of this year had heart palpitation and all the symptoms of hyperthyroid doc did the test and he said u have to lower the dose then from 125 I go back to 112 mcg because my tsh went from 0.19 to 0.03 then after 3 weeks doc lowered my dose from 112 to 88 after 6 weeks my tsh was 0.04
Doc said there is no improvement. Yet
In between this time period I went to psychiatrist who gave me clonazepam and it helps a little now my doc and endo said stop taking synthyroid for 4 weeks then see the result . This is almost the end of 4th week but I am still anxious and not feeling good .
Is this iud is responsible for it ?
Plz give me suggestions what should I do first coz I am tired of this . And everybody said iud did not cause anything .....
