I just want some info on how to deal with the attacks which are gettin worse every time i have been taking diazypam but they dont seem to be doin the truck
What started them? Do you feel normal after the attack stops or a big after
This is the thing i really dont no what started these attacks. I had a massive panic attack about 3/4 weeks ago and was addmitted to hospital after all the checks i was fine.. then last sunday it happans again so i went back to hospital but every thin was fine.. im just waiting on cbt but my take time to get appoinmtents.
The attacks are lasting days i started feeling like an attack was comin last night and im still waiting for it to come now... i have a tight chest and shaking
Do you feel normal afterward
No i still feel funny for a couple of hours.. its just the build up to the attack thats doin my head in..
Ok but then after a few hours your body and mind settle down and you feel back to yourself?
Yes thats right
I've never had a huge panic attack for no reason, but I did when I overdosed on adderal. It's no fun... My counselor says a lot of breathing helps... Maybe try yoga?
I take anti anxiety meds but sometimes still have a major panic attack. I have a fast acting med that i can take for it. If i dont happen to have them on hand i find a way to distract myself. The more i just sit there freaking out over my symptoms which range from tight chest, shortness of breath, loss of sensation in my limbs to name a few, the worse they get. I usually call my mom or one of my friends to just talk about whatever to get my mind off of the attack. After about 10 15 mins i feel much better. The trick is just finding what works best for you.
I have been listening to calming music and i am goin to try find some yoga classes bear to me.. thanks for your time

Cbt takes 6 to 8 eeeks ftom the follow up call. I called 19 Oct and wfter a phone questionnaire they gave me follow up call 2 weeks later. My Cbt appt was for 7jan 2016
I take 40mg citilopram once daily. Its a time release. The fast acting is clonazepam 0.5mg only as needed which for me usually isnt more than twice a month. I get your stress level. We were just stationed in a new city, my husband went on an 8 month deployment shortly after our move. He missed the birth of our 4th child be 3 weeks. Being a "single" mom of a new born, a two year old and their older siblings, in a town where you dont know anyone or have any help is slightly stressful. My dr suggested i started taking the citilopram and it has really helped me alot. Ive been taking it for almost 4 years now.
Try guided meditation, mindfulness. Consult doctor and telll them medication is not working? May need dose upped?
Remember medication is not a cure all. Hopefully you are finding "me" time to relax! What ever helps you to relax.
