I’ve been continuously experiencing excessive burping for about a year and I couldn’t find the reason why this is happening to me.

I’ve done a gastroscopy, colonoscopy, abdominal ultrasound, a blood test and couldn’t find anything special except that I have a mild gastritis which pretty much everyone in this world has. I’ve also taken PPIs for about two months but it didn’t help me at all.

I’ve tried several things that could relieve my symptoms such as eating slowly, avoiding certain kinds of food but they didn’t help at all and I am very stressed because this is really degrading my quality of life.

Since I’ve started to burp excessively, I also noticed that something clicks right beneath my left rib cage. I told my doctor about it but he also isn’t sure what it is. Any guess what this could be and who should I talk to if I really want to find out what this is?

To describe my symptoms more precisely, I continuously feel bloated no matter whether it’s before or after meal which leads to excessive burping. Other than that my digestive system seems to be alright. Although I feel bloated I don’t feel nauseous or throw up. I also don’t have serious abdominal pain although I sometimes feel mild discomfort in the upper left area of my abdomen.
