ive had anxiety/depression for a long while now and ive gone thru alot of symptoms .. for awhile ive been okay but recently ive been getting ugly abdominal pain like before but worse along with lower back pain that makes me have pressure in my colon... my bowels have always been abnormal and ive been getting ugly pain in my head and extremely dizzy... the thing is i havent been that stressed! today i woke up and i was way off balance and dizzy which triggered my anxiety... and i have no insurance until dec 1st aince my husband switched jobs .. i really hate that i panic and think the worst but i guess its becuase i love my kids and just wanna be able to live life .... a few months ago i had a bad migraine so bad i went to urgent care and they did a CT scan no contrast and it was normal... but why am i getting dizzy? does depression/anxiety cause bad dizziness? im just so stressed cause of this .. and also the pain on my upper abdomen is where my gallbaldder is across to the other side .. i had a US of abdomen and it was normal and all my labs the last time i checked was normal.. i do need to go recheck though when i get my inurance back... has anybody experienced this... dizziness and i mean like off balance

Yes, anxiety can definitely cause dizziness and headaches. At my worst a couple months ago I was convinced I had a brain tumor, had an MRI and came back normal. Mine also began with migraines. I was super nauseous all the time too so it can also cause stomach issues. It’s so crazy what it can do to your body!

Noomost Mood + pills are what have helped me the most. You might give them a try. Hope you feel better soon!

yes its very common to have dizziness when you have a history of anxiety and depression. Even if you’re not anxious at the time you’re dizzy, there is still an underlying anxiety, stress, depression that can be causing this.
of course, when you’re able to, go get a physical check up at your doctors. mention all of your symptoms. And ultrasound is OK however I had to get an endoscopy to find out that I had gastritis .
discuss the dizziness but also discuss the abdominal pain. I had the same thing and it turned out to be gastritis which I believe was caused by stress and anxiety over a very long time.
In the meantime there are things you can do. I know you said you want to be well for the sake of your kids and I totally understand that. That is why it’s important for you to try to relax as much as possible and stop thinking about “what ifs”.
ive done that for many years and I can tell you it’s a complete waste of time and it makes you feel miserable and fear controls you.
I really like listening to meditations on YouTube for anxiety, sleep, depression etc. ones that talk you through a relaxing body scan are great . also listen to some on proper breathing with anxiety. Most of the time I don’t make it through the meditations because they relax me so much that I fall asleep. Check them out .
relax your mind whenever you can, stay positive and don’t let fear control you!

thank you my problem is ive never been put to sleep and so scared too… and i know i do need to relax and quit thinking negative … ive had depression/anxiety for quite awhile and ive never got dizzy before so thats why i got anxious

yes i know ive had so many symptoms and once i check and everything comes back negative the pain goes away its so crazy i wish i could just be normal again but even tho i wouldnt wish this on anybody it does help talking to people on here who understand

Hi nicole , can i ask how old your kids are ? One way i relax is let my kids paint my nails , lol , do little neck massages , we also pray together .. I hope you feel better very soon

Hi jan , i have gastritus as well , can i ask you how youre helping or cured yours ?

Hi

I have experienced head pressure / dizziness for a number of years now. It feels like a fog (my head feels like soup) building when environments where am not happy. With this comes a sensation of off-balance and lightheaded - it really is awful and very difficult to describe. Have had MRI scan etc. all came back clear - been prescribed various meds but nothing really seems to have any effect for me.

I feel like I am going crazy, however wonder if it is me or the rest of the world which is insane ?

I’ve been having most of the symptoms you listed and it’s making me a nervous wreck. I know how you feel about wanting to live your life without worry and just enjoy your kids. I just told my mom last night that I just want to enjoy my life and not have to worry about my health all the time. I know my gallbladder is low functioning but the new stuff has been the headache, dizziness, pain in the right arm, groin, and down the same leg, and pain on both sides where my kidneys and liver are. I went to the ER a few weeks ago and they did a Ct without contrast of my abdomen and everything was normal but I worry bc I read that a CT w/o contrast wouldn’t show tumors of the liver or kidneys. I had a CT and MRI of my head at the beginning of the year so I know a brain tumor is out of the question. I hope you get answers soon. If you have a clinic around, most of them do a sliding scale and go off of your income if you don’t have insurance, so you could look into that. My heart truly goes out to you. I have two girls that I constantly worry that I won’t be around for and it’s awful to think that way. I just want to be around for them.

sure. mainly its about …

  1. eating alkaline based foods such as veges, some fruits, lean meats, no red meat, small portions at meals, , avoid acid foods like junk foods, pop, caffeine , cheese, eggs, etcyou can find a list of acid and alkaline foods online.
  2. taking A 14 day treatment of omeprazole, acid blocker, or whatever your doctor orders.
  3. reducing stress. My gastritis was caused by anxiety and stress over a long time. It does flare up again when I am anxious. you tube has Great meditations for anxiety.
4.eating smaller portions and eating slower. It’s better to eat 4-5 small meals a day rather than three large ones.
I always have to be careful of what I eat and drink .
these are just some examples of things you can do to help this condition. Of course always consult your doctor before taking any medication. I hope you feel better!

yea i had a CT without contast on my brain and it was negative … i hope its right but i guess with depression/anxiety thats just how we think… you would think with all the money and doctors there was a cure but then again no money would be made if we werent sick.. i worry alot too about my health because of my kids too… its like you stress out and the symptoms come and then you stress out more thinking the worst.. its a horrible way to live .. but yes i know exactly how you feel about just wanting to live a normal life … well i hope everything comes back negative and normal for you… and yes thats exactly how i think i wanan be around for my girls too

6 & 10 and yes we do that lol… actually praying has helped me alot

Hi crispy . Im sorry youre going through this horrible ordeal .. Have you had your vitamin and electrolyte levels checked ? Including and especially your vitamin D ? If not please do … Low or high levels can cause havoc in your body including anxiety , dizziness , head pressure , ear pressure , off balance ,just to name a few .. Hope you feel better soon

Low vitamin D can even make you hallucinate , suffer schizophrenic , .. You cant get vitamin D in foods you eat that the body needs , its sunshine and supplements .. I hope you have them checked

Hi Vicky,
Many thanks for post. I am not sure about vitamin levels but what I can say which is telling is the brain fog builds during the day at my workplace and then slowly eases once I get back home. I also feel it building in busy environments (like shopping etc) - am not very happy with work and do not really like some of my colleagues who I cannot reconcile to at all.
My problems seems to stem from being sensitive to other people and the ‘energy’ they give off.

Oh i understand that tension very well .. My doctor recommended wearing a rubberband on my wrist ,and gently flipping it when i feel tension building , saying my mind will be on that rubberband instead of my surroundings . If you give it a try ,maybe it will help , i hope it will

I have been reading ALL of your posts and replies and i promise you my symptoms are like yours to the T. From the years of anxiety and gastro issues, to the side effects from those diseases and how they have progressed. how are you feeling? I am here for the rectum pressure and lower back pain. but recently i have been feeling like a fullness all over my lower abdomen and down there along with those. and the uncomfortable dull feeling down there, cant tell if it’s the rectum or lady parts.

I have suffered with constant dizzines for years. it gets better some years than others. look for PPPD online. its what made sense to me. And it is very related to our anxiety.
