Just wondering if any of these sound familiar to anyone who take sertraline. Bare with me my grammar isn't very good
I started on 50mg Sert and then went up to 100mg about 3m ago... I take it for Ocd anxiety and depression also It was supposed to help with my IBS.
Since I started taking it I've become very forgetful,twitchy And the worst I can't seem to cool down I'm sweating constantly it's becoming a huge problem. Also i dont know if this is a symptom because I never had it before but my feet are ridiculously dry to the point where the skin comes off and I starts to bleed. I'm unsure of what to do because sert has been the only tablet I have been able to take with being super poorly

I am suffering from sweating lots, mainly in the mornings. I sometimes get it for hours.
Side effects are very common I had the twitching heart racing and feeling slightly crazy at the beginning but then I had a bad reaction one weekend so quit immediately after 8/9 weeks of taking50mg but vomiting violently and heart palpitations so bad premedical had to rule out a heart attack (I am 37) that was it no more ... I am a few weeks free but I can feel thins sliding again but super anxious about different meds vicious circle as anxiety and depression was why they were prescribed.
I you can go see you Dr /Gp to discuss the side effects and options. If he says it ok at least it gives you peace of mind.
