this started about two weeks ago but only recently did it get worse. I'm getting extremely frustrated because now im getting anxious with every breath i take. im afraid im going to be like this forever and im really scared right now. i take xanax .75mg a day and it barely helps. sometimes i want to just stop breathing because it makes me anxious and i notice it. Can someone please help me. :((((
Thats a terrible feeling. I have had it many many times over years until i learned how to manage it. you can too!
when we are too focused on our breathing, it increases anxiety and everything gets worse.
are you active and busy during the day? THIS TAKES your mind off of breathing.
remember, breathing is automatic, it wont stop and doesn’t need us to remind it to work.
you would benefit from regular daily purposeful proper breathing exercises., where YOU are in control, not fear or anxiety!
THIS IN TURN WILL REDUCE ANXIETY.
DONT ALLOW ANXIETY TO CONTROL YOU.
you can speak with a counselor who can help and/ or learn proper breathing so you can do it at any time .

another is great for IMMEDIATELY CALMING YOU DOWN! CALLED " STOP PANIC ATTACK NOW."
theres so many on there for anxiety, sleep, breathing, etc.
One i like or overthinking is called DETACHMENT FROM OVERTHINKING
