On 150 mg of setraline 3 yrs ago started with them. Now I feel I'm not getting as much good from them as I used to been anxious all week and in tears for last 2 days. Nothing in my life has changed to get me down. I'm scared to change tablets. Any suggestions please.
Perhaps up your dose to 200mg? That may help.
Has anything triggered it? I always find this time of year the hardest, with lack of sunlight etc.. The tablets take the edge of how your feeling but if there’s something bothering you or something physical going on, you will feel worse. You could try and up to 200mg, but I would encourage you to look at what else is going on too. Also pay a visit to your doctors and see what they say.
I was on diazapam but came of it 2 months ago as felt I Was getting too dependent on them. Was on them 3 yrs and slowly cut down. So don't know if it's maybe something to do with that. Think I definitely need to speak to doc but the thought of changing tablets is scarey as it took 3 different kinds of tablets before I felt could cope better on setraline. Do you take setraline yourself if you don't mind me asking?
Yes I’m on Sertraline 150mg and also on Diazepam. I only take about 1 D a week as I’m concerned about becoming dependent. From what I’ve read diazepam stays in your system for a long time so it could well be that, that’s affecting you. If it is, you’ll probably feel better soon as it’s probably means your body has got rid of the last traces of it. Hope you feel better soon. Xx
Hi Sarah. I used to take diazapam very rarely only when and if required. Then it started getting to wee bit more and I just noticed that I was beginning to rely on them, so thought I don't want to end up and every day thing with these. So eventually decided enough was enough. Thank you for your help x
