Ive had continuous right side abdominal pain for weeks

Hello everyone,

Im a 24 year old male, and lately ive been getting dull aches on the right side of my stomach (abdomen). Its not any pain thats unbearable or affects my everyday activities, but you feel it there. Sometimes it goes into the right side of my back sometimes the lower back sometimes up close to the shoulder.

Whenever I eat sometimes it causes my left side to cramp up. And it makes me burp constantly until the gas is gone.

This all has caused me to burp almost all the time, pass gas more often, and my bowel movements have changed.

I get severe anxiety and my crazy self has diagnosed myself with every digestive cancer I can find even though im probably overreacting. But im really concerned about what it could be. I had a sonogram done on my abdomen and currently awaiting the results. I also am having an upper endoscopy done next week and Im really nervous that the doctor might tell me they found something serious. Anyone have some insight or experiences that can help explain whats going on?

Have you had your gallbladder checked since your pain radiates up to your shoulder? Have you tried a food diary since you have pain after eating? Has IBS been mentioned?

Have doc check out your gall bladder. I just had mine removed. Similar symptoms. Good luck!

Update #1: Sonogram came out completely normal. Will have my upper endoscopy next week and will find out what happens then.
