I've put on a pound ..... again!

Getting a bit fed up. I've only lost 2 lbs in the last month which is rubbish. And to top that I am soooooooooo constipated which is very unlike me (must be full of s**t lol). Seriously though I eat plenty of fruit and I'm always drinking water/green tea/black coffee. I checked on the internet and it said carrots can cause constipation and I eat loads of those. Something else to cut down on I suppose. Hope you are all well XXXX

I'd personally give myself a couple of days off the tabs, still stick to the low fat regime and see if you cannot sort out the constipation, maybe take some sennacot (sp). I was told eating to much fruit, of any kind, can bung you up and there are quite a bit of hidden natural sugars in them so like everything else its moderation I'm afraid.

Hopefully a few days off and a slight change in diet will get your bowels started as well as the weight lose.

I agree with Suza. I haven't been able to take the tablsets for nearly a month now due to an upset stomach. I haven't been to the docs as it goes away for a couple of days and then comes back. I don't think I'm helping it as I'm eating rubbish because I'm off the tablets. I haven't got on the scales but I know by my clothes the weight is already going back on.

I'm starting Slimming World tonight so hope this will reverse the weight gain and get me back to eating healthily ans sort my stomach out. Due to the docs the beginning of May so that gives it a couple of weeks.

Also had a bit of an incident on Sunday that made me realise I've got to get weight worted. Got a couple of really old wooden chairs in the garden. Didn't really sit on them last year but decided they looked fine so could go another summer. As it was nice on Sun went ourside to call my Mum and sat in one of the chairs. Within five minutes I was flat on my back on the floor. The chair had collapsed completely underneath me. It was a bit of a shock. My BF said all he could see from in the house was my legs wiggling in the air. I have bruises on my elbows and my back is a little sore. OK, looking at the chair afterwards it was a bit rotten but I'm sure my weight didn't help :oops:

I agree with the other ladies, give them up for a few days. Also look up soluble fibre. This is a food group which helps with digestion, but has minimum calories, apples are one. Also try some exercise, just some extra walking out of the norm stuff to make your body work again.

I can't afford my script so I have to come off mine for a week or 2, so that should kick start me again.

I spent about 8 weeks only loosing 2lb so I do know how you feel
