I have elevated direct bilirubin but my doctor told me it is Gilbert. I am 16. My eyes are a little bit yellow. Could it be cancer?like pancreatic.
It doesnt sound like cancer, but either side effects of medication you are taking, or eating habits.
Gilbert’s would cause an increase in unconjugated/indirect bilirubin and not direct. I had a gene test confirm Gilbert’s as my levels were elevated and I too went through a period of jaundice.
