Hey im on 100mg of sertraline for health anxiety and intrusive thoughts! Have only been on 100mg for 3 weeks was previously on 50mg! Was wondering if anyone experiences their jaw shaking and teeth chattering even tho its not cold, is this anxiety??

not sure if that's anxiety or the medication causing it, but im currently on 50mg of sertraline and im pretty sure the information leaflet says that twitching, chattering and muscle tightness are all potential side effects of Sertraline.
I'd try not to worry about it, if its becoming a problem or doesnt go in a few days go back to your GP

Hey sher I get tremors everywhere and also in my jaw even my lips cheeks ect I'm not on medication but it did all start after taking ciatrpram I had to get off them as the amount of symtoms I got off one first pill I was sat in the bath with the phone about to ring 999 because I had the weirdest fast heart rate and feeling this passed after two days of taking it but the tremors have stayed so I'm not too sure although I do know anxiety can cause them as they is so many people with tremors ect it can happen when your not anxiouse ect too xx
Omg! I thought I was the only one. I've been on the same dosage of sertraline (zoloft) . I do the same thing with my jaw. Like I get these random bursts of energy or something and I will feel a strong urge to chatter or clinch my teeth. And one time I had someone ask me if I was cold. Thank God it was cold that day but I was so embarrassed. im going to my doctor tomorrow Nd see what she says.
