Good God what am I to think 😡 About a month ago had my coil removed and a smear test at the same time but while waiting for smear test had blood spotting in between so had a swab test done and found to have a yeast infection so bought the usual thing from boots but over the weekend had a lot of clear discharge again still clear no burning when urinating but a bit sore out side my Virginia because of all the wiping , no odour , doctors just keep saying use the stuff you buy over the counter , has anyone on here have the same thing ??? Could it have anything todo with the menapose 😦😦 that's causing a clear discharge 🙏🙏 it's driving me so mad , can see doctors for two weeks 😡😡. But have no confidence in them .

Due to the lack of estrogen production everything starts changing. I have used lots of creams and even wash with a cream. Be aware that soaps and shower gels can worse the symptoms.
One thing I found that helps a lot is drinking cranberry juice or pomegranate juice, even though no persistent burning, it has helped.

It's normal and you shouldn't be so concerned if it's clear, it's when it's foul smelling, cottage cheese or burning that you need give it some attention, otherwise it's fine.
Hi Anne. It's my understanding that a clear discharge is your bodies own form of lubrication. If it's odourless and not irritating then I would leave it, don't wipe too much, wear an unscented panty liner and it may help with your soreness. It may be a bit heavier than normal as your hormones are settling down after the removal of the coil. I'm guessing it feels a bit weird if you are feeling damp all the time.
