I have been confirmed with herpes just 2 hours ago. It shattered me. I just had my outbreak and I dunno if i am contagious at this moment. Am i not supposed to share saliva even thought it was my genital. I have a kid of 6 years old and i need advise. Please help.

Just use common sense. It's a virus. Use normal hygiene. Be sure you don't kiss your child if you have a cold sore on your lips or nose.Soap and water kills virus soit can't be passed from bathtub it toilet seat Thats the best I can do others may can tell you more I am the Grandmother of this bunch. Thanks for your reply. Still in a shock and thus still in the process of learning how to live and cope with it. Have been very cautious about hygiene as well.

We all feel the same way I just found out in August. Take it one day at a time. If you have someone you trust to talk to that helps a lot. We all will make it. You are not alone!!!!!

The only one i talked to is my partner. He has been very supportive and encouraging. I still have no courage to talk to any of my friends. Thank you dear for hearing me out. It meant alot to me.

You are very lucky then. I was given this by a "man" who has no balls!!! He knew he had it and didn't tell me then dumped me when I confronted him. He was mad at me because I knew his little secret. I know who ever he is with now He has not told them. Hugs in there. Praying for all of us.💖💖

What kind of man he is. He isnt worth of you. May we all be strong to overcome this. I was told the first outbreak is the worse. Hoping its true cause i literally went thr hell and i dont want to go thr it again.

I guess I am lucky I have had that kind. Mine was a severe itching and strange sensation in anal area. Felt like worms crawling. I may have got on meds in time. I think about when I get older (LOL LOL) and end up in nursing home and having this that scares s**t out of me

Mine was so painful. Every holes i had below hurts. I wanna kill myself. Lol! Glad its over. And im not alone!!!!
