I have suffered with general anxiety disorder, social phobia, OCD, and depression for a few years now and only in the past few months have I started taking medication. First, he prescribed Celexa (an SSRI), it did nothing for me. I noticed my brother tried taking Celexa and it wasnt working so he switched to Zoloft (also an SSRI), so I made the recommendation to be prescribed for Zoloft. He gave it to me and it wasnt working until I gradually became unaware of my symptoms over a few months... It was working! However, Ive been in a relationship with my boyfriend for a year and some change, despite having passed the "honeymoon" phase, I began getting anxiety over the fact that I wasnt craving sex anymore. I know that SSRIs have a side effect that makes patients have a decreased desire for sex, but I am seriously worried that maybe I am not attracted to him anymore! He has such a high sexual drive for me but I felt nothing. So i talked to my doctor and he recommended Tricellex a new drug. Started taking it and felt absolutely horrible, made me nauseated, dizzy, lightheaded, itchy, get cold sweats, and weird dreams. That being said around Christmas I just stopped taking the pills. I told him maybe i should just back up off of pills all together. TIt has been less than 24 hrs since that appt and I feel like s**t. Depressed, low energy, but especially angry and irritated at even the smallest of things. Does anyone have any recommendations or has anyone been in a similar boat?
Stopping medication is never a good idea. I think you need to see your Dr for some advice. You have been on a lot of different meds which msybe hadnt helped???

You are suffering withdrawal, it would seem you have stopped your medications dead, that will cause you problems.
Return back on that medication and reduce the dose slow, this will cause you less problems.
I do not kno how long you have been on different medications, changing drugs fro one to another can also cause problems and it should be done over an extended period
