I'm 17yo about to start 11th grade, in less than a week I have 3 major exams that will determine my classes next year.
I have been to a heart Doctor 5 days due to weird heart skips a beat feeling which I found out that was palpitation and it was completely not dangerous. the Doctor also said I'm in a lot of anxiety rn.
this morning I woke up and planned how to start my day ( mostly by studying ) then I had some chest pain and nausea, I felt like I barely can move my jaw and had some more symptoms, lucky for me I had my mum to be with me and after 10¬ mins it went away. it was pretty bad ( at least I felt like it ) and now I'm afraid of it coming back in the next few days / during the exam which would be terrible.
what do I do? ( after the exams I will go to see a doctor though not before)
Hiya , you are obviously under a lot of pressure at school and you cant manage it. Have you tried meditation on youtube, relaxation techniques? Ive found them very helpfull. What about some herbal remedies for stress over the counter? Have you tried them?
Pretty painful chest pain , felt like "imploading" , pretty hard nausea and will to vomit though nothing came out, solid jaw like a rock, hard time breathing and a feeling like I choke, headache ( mild and constant, headache already over 5 days, so as behaviral disorders such as suddenly mad, despressed and hard time focusing) , brust out crying for no reason, feeling like about to die ( not afraid of dying though ), urge to pee straight after the attack + lately going to the bathroom as 2 times more than usually.
sorry for double post , don't know how to edit / if even optional.
I genuinely just pressed the play buttom of a meditation video and the first few sounds gave me hard chills , followed by another anxiety attack. breathing techniques did kind of helped after a few mins ( was a much weaker attack I would say.)
I guess there is nothing I can do to prevent the panic disorder ( if it is actually panic disorder ) but to eliminate the sourse of stress which is school or take a some kind of antidepressants since is school not gonna go away anytime soon.
Before you turn to ADs please try diffirent things to try to manage anxiety. Mindfulness helps, CBT, talking to people. Also with meditation you need to pick right one for you. I will send you some I listen to and what helps me xx
