Feeling a bit anxious and shortness of breath! Every damn morning for the past week and a half short of breath As soon as I wake up. Wtf! Fml!
You should maybe see a doctor? I'm not sure. I'm 15 and I used to have that a lot but I learnt to control it I guess, now I just have to learn how to control my anxiety hah. Hope everything gets better. I'm here for you. Message me whenever you like :-)
Have you been diagnosed with anxiety? If so then its part of the condition. If its any consolation I have it all the time at the moment as I'm having an episode. If you haven't been to your GP go and see him. At least it'll put your mind at ease. I've just nipped to the supermarket and on the way my face started tingling and my breathing was bad. I get agoraphobia as one of my symptoms and this is exactly what happened today. There are millions of us with this unseen demon. You are not alone but go to your GP anyway.
No I haven't been diagnosed. The doc said I had asthma but then went to a asthma specialist and he said no I don't have asthma. He asked if I had anxiety. I said I think I do because I've never been diagnosed. But I get the numbness in the face also sometimes.
Thanks Nicole
I'd go back to your GP and tell him all the symptoms you experience. Let us know how you get on. Best Wishes.
Hey I have that for two years now sometimes happens I jump from sleep because my breathing completely stops. Also I feel dizzy can't even walk at all.. dumno when it will be the end..
Stay strong
As soon as I wake up each morning, I lay there and do the breathing exercises due to this feeling. It helps to get you breathing normal, your heart to beat at a regular pace, and get the blood flowing throughout your body.
Whats your breathing exercise?
Before I was always told to breath in through your nose to the count of 10, hold for the count of 4, and then breath out through your mouth. My new therapist has me breathing in and out through my nose, but a longer count when breathing out. This does seem to work better for me. But you have to do it slowly. I do it anywhere from 5 to 10 times.
