last time I had sex, and it was unprotected, was 9-1-19. Found out afterwards guy I was dating at the time tested positive for HSV 1 & 2. We had sex a total 3 times with condoms, he performed oral sex 3 times unprotected, and 1 time sex unprotected between July and last encounter 9-1-19.
Full panel std test dates:
STD testing: July negative (can’t remember exact date)
October 10th: negative (5 wks 4 days post unp sex)
December 3rd: negative (13 wks 2 days post unp sex)
I did do just IGM hsv test on 10-17 & had doctor swab vulva fissures for hsv culture test and both were negative for hsv 1 & 2
I know at this point negative on all other stds are final but specifically for HSV 1&2 am I finally in the clear or should I test again at 16 weeks? ALWAYS negative on IGG & IGM blood test. Never had a sore.
From July-December I did get yeast infections and bacterial vaginosis, unfortunately I’m prone to it, especially with latex condoms or unp sex, but that’s it.
