Had a sexual encounter and used a condom. My genitals did brush up against hers (I’m a male) before I put the condom on. Afterwards weather is so hot I developed a pretty gnarly fungal rash. Went to the patient first and they took a swab and came back negative. And gave me anti fungal cream and it went away. I was still very nervous so I took a 10 panel STD test 2 days after and it was all negative. At 11 days I took a IGM Herpes test and it came back negative. Took another Full Panel std test with Quest Diagnosic at 6 weeks and it all came back negative. I find myself worrying a lot so I am going to do another full panel test after a few weeks. But after all this should I be okay? I don’t have any visible symptoms only symptoms I had was a really serious jock itch which irritated my testicles as well initially.
Seems like you are okay if the anti-fungal medicine made whatever rash you got go away it was used for the right purpose. If you had no other symptoms of it being herpes, I would say your test shows corrects at 6 weeks for most it would show positive. I would get retested at 16 weeks to be sure, but for now do not think about it because it would be rare if that would be herpes.
