I've just signed up and this site is not very easy to navigate so I apologise if this is in the wrong place.

Last week, I found a lump under my left armpit. It went away after a couple of days then I got one in my right armpit. That one has been there for over a week now.. Yesterday I got up and was feeling tender in my groin, and I found another lump. Today, the one in my right armpit is going down but my groin one is growing and now the one in my left armpit is coming back. I can't get in to see my GP until Friday. Any ideas?

Forgot to add I am a 25 year old female with no health issues.

I don't have any medical experience but lumps should always be seen by a doctor. It could be that you have some sort of infection, resulting in swollen glands but your GP will reassure you.

I would be tempted to phone your surgery back and ask for an urgent appointment.

It might be nothing at all, but where lumps and bumps are concerned w cannot be too careful

Because I developed the one in my groin I went to A&E yesterday (sorry, I should have probably put this in my orig post!) and they ran bloods, they all came back normal but he advised to keep my appt on Friday in case they'd like to do an ultrasound. Not really sure why didn't just order one though.

Are the lumps painful?  Many years ago I kept getting very painful 'lumps' under my armpits, they would stay and while and then go of their own accord.  Finally while I was at the GPs for something else I mentioned them.  I had a nasal swab and found that I had staphylococcus aureus, I swabbed the inside of my nose with cream for 10 days and it's never returned.  It could be something as simple as that, but in any case you need it checked out
