Good on you, hope yr rehab goes well, and you'll be home again soon.
Good for you! Good for you!
If you have pain take pain meds especially at night to get a good nights sleep.
You can tell when you no longer need them and will cut it off.
If you take codiene remember it is very constipating. I drank always a full glass of prune juice and took a stool softner as a precaution.
One woman had written in about codeine being constipating and no one had told her and she had an extremely painful experience.
Tramadol gave me psychotic thoughts so I couldn't take that, and also had a bad reaction to morphine. So for me I now know it is codeine that works for me. Just be aware it is very addicting so watch yourself that you don't slip into taking it when you don't really need it. For sure I needed it for the first 2-3 weeks after surgery, then I taered it off to lower and lower dosages and only at night. The restfulness I felt after a deep sleep, a full nights sleep was great. I would wake up pain free.
Good luck to you!
Thanks jeanp
Really good advice Jodi and thanks
I'm glad you are okay xx
Congratulations!! It's amazing how much relief comes from just knowing it's done. The recovery is just temporary. I told my husband it's like getting a smartphone for the first time. You have to learn how to use it before you can truly appreciate its value.
Good luck with rehab, pain control and getting your life back.
Thanks cindy I'm taking all advice on board
Thanks as always judiwoo

Oh oh Cindy, then I'm in trouble...my phone is so basic it doesn't even text!!!!!
😁 That's funny! Umm, maybe it's like planting vegetables in the garden. You have to keep the weeds out, make sure they have enough water, keep the bugs and worms off of them, add fertilizer, etc. Then a couple months later you have fresh, yummy vegetables to eat! 😊
aw Patricia, i certainly know how you feel, this time last week that was me, and to be honest i would do it again, the anticipation is worse than the op, keep us posted as yo how you are sweetheart, its the not knowing.
