8 years ago I had ear surgery on my cartilage from a very infected piercing. They lanced the ear, drained the infection and repaired my damaged cartilage and scar tissue formed over the damage resulting in a mild cauliflower ear.
I have ave had no issues since then up until 2 weeks ago. I noticed my ear swollen and painful to the touch. Last night I decided to squeez my ear to see if anything would come out. A lot of hard pus came out. Looked like when you pop a zit and hard stringy pus would come out. My ear has deflated and feels 10 times better. My friend suggested that it may have been a cyst and instead of running to the doctor right away, to keep an eye out on it. She thinks it was a sebaceous cyst.
I do not have insurance righ now so I was thinking if I should wait it out. If it fills back up then go see a dr?
