Yesterday I started having this burning sensation in my vagina, once i checked i noticed i was heavy some heavy white discharge and i assumed the burning sensation could be due to some acidity on the discharge. Took a shower and noticed some small white dots.
in early february i got covid and due to my immune system being down, i had my very first genital herpes outbreak and since then i have been incredibly paranoid that i might have more outburst episodes.
I was traveling abroad so i decided to go to the emergency room , in case it was a herpes outbreak it would be easier to get the medicine then than abroad.
the ginecologist who saw me said it didnt look like herpes and it could some irritation in the sebaceous glands, but the white dots seem to be getting bigger and i am worried .
i applied a cream (lomexin) that i use if theres any irritation in the vagina region. i have been applying it and the burning sensation seems to have calmed but i am still worried this could be a fungus or something to do with herpes.
please help if you have been in a similar situation !!
the first photo is when it was the worst, very irritated and red skin.

and these are after applying the cream which seems to help!

(the last photo still has some remains of the cream.
definitely looks yeasty to me. I don’t see herpes but I can see the redness. Hope someone has more help to offer.
