I am now 9 months post tkr and still having pain
on left side and behind the knee.Does anyone else still have pain this far along after surgery? Still gets very stiff after sitting or standing any length of time. Still can't bend past 115 without pain.
I'm four months post op and I have been dealing with stiffness too. I do the exercises yet after sitting or standing for a while it stiffens up.
Pain can last 12-18 months. I think my clicking sound will never go away...so what. Yes, the first few steps after sitting a while are always an adventure...normal. You have to go to the gym to rebuild your quads, glutes and core. Rehab does not end with PT. Use the gym time to get past your current 115 limit. Takes work. Read the Exercise Section in my post...

hi jeanne, had my tkr right knee in march 2016. still have the issues you are dealing with. we are among the 20% group of brave surgery soldiers who dont do as well as others. hangin there, i think my bend is about a 100 maybe 110. seein doc in december, will see what he says. last i saw him was about 3-4 months ago and that's when he gave me the blessed news about the "20%" group. wonder if is pay was dropped by 20% (Ha ha)? got to keep up the good humor or were doomed. ive go pain in the knee and now this constant pain that goes up my inner right thigh from the bottom of knee to top of groin, and then sometimes i get a tingling sore pain going up the back of my thigh. i just dont know any more. some say it possibly muscle related or some have said it could be a nerve ??? so im tryin to rest, which is difficult, cause i cant sit still, my head starts spinning with all sorts of thoughts. oh im sorry, its not that bad, but most days, oye, i try my best..... you do the same and try to get some answers from your doctors, best of healing to you, kathy p
