hello all its me again so im still having bad hip issues from when i hsd a revisin last yr i had a bad dislocation 2 weeks after now i went for an mri on my knee and it appesrs i have a posterior lateral bundle tear not sure how bad it is yet till i see the dr i just got a copy of the results it also says i have fluid buildup in the left knee as well wondring if my i torn my acl because im over compensating the hip anyone else have the issue im scsred and only 36 dont need all this pain amd stress
hi I’ve not got experience as such but I snapped my L ACL in 2009 and they didn’t repair it as said theyd give me worse function than I’d got. anyway the upshot of that is I ended up with arthritis R hip for which ive recently had RTHR . as I compensated on the opposite side to the original injury. my L hip atm is only minor arthritis whilst R was severe.

SO sorry for your distress. I had a hip pinning and have excruciating pain four months post op.down my leg, knee shins. i went back to surgeon who never checked me once, post op…always the P A! So when i went to see them for pain, once again PA saw me and quickly said it is not the hip. the surgeon was too busy to see me. now i gave appt with a top hip surgeon for 2nd opinion. i think its a disgrace that you can not see the surgeon when having such horrible pain post op. there is an arrogance there that is nauseating. i hope they dont have to go back in. if so, it sure wont be the original surgeon. additionally his receptionists were nasty and condescending. typical behavior in regard to how the elderly, like me are treated. they shouldnt get away with it.
