Its been a year now since I had my arthroscopic knee surgery. A SIMPLE SURGERY! MY KNEE is still in pain when I Walk, i can never find a comfortable position to relax my knee. I SIT at a desk all day without no problems. But as soon as I GET home its start paining me. IM SO sick of it. I CAN WALK without problems. but the pain is depressing me. i appear to be doing good to family but its not 100% has anyone experienced this?
i forgot to mention, the pain effects my back and scatica nerves too!
let me identify pain:
- numbness
- muscle cramps (i have theraworx by my bedside)
- pain on right side
- swelling (I USE ginger oil everyday)
- cant stand for long periods
- pain in my ankle (like a pulling rubber band)
- cant sleep without a pillow between my knees
hi Lorraine, I’ve had a similar problem. I had a arthroscopy MENISECTOMY in May last year. I too have struggled, so much so that I’ve just had another OP to ease the pain…Fingers crossed. don’t suffer in silence, ask for a second opinion if you feel you are not being heard, the knees take some battering on a daily basis…Good luck
