Its good to be on this site knowing people are or have been thru the same thing as yourself. Thanks for everybody's output it really helps to read. Although every person will have different recovery moments. Its still good to read everybody's output and experience. Personnel I never dreamed i would have to endure so much pain. But reading what everybody's else is going thru it does treasure you that you'll be OK. Thanks everybody.

Yes, I think most of us were surprised at the level and pain! One somehow thinks that in the 21st century they will have discovered ways of dealing with that a little more efficiently, but unfortuantely not so! Still, we are very lucky that knee replacements are now commonplace . .way less than a hundred years ago, we would just have had to soldier on with agonising knee pain!

Joseph, I have been thru my share of surgeries and this one has been the most challenging. At 12 weeks I know now that it was worth it. I keep thinking back to my constant limp and the fact that it was only going to get worse. This is going the other way- improving. Best of luck!
Hello Joseph welcome to the group - like you I have found it so helpful to see others are having exactly the same weird and painful experiences! I know at first I thought it was just me being a bit neurotic! Makes things easier to bear when you know what you're going through is normal, and best of all, it doesn't last!!!
