three nights ago, i woke up in the middle of the night to a pain in the ring finger of my left hand. I found it hard to go back to sleep (was around 3 am) and would only fall asleep for small bursts of time after. at the time i had a thrombosed haemorrhoid, since burst. throughout the day after i got up my finger seemed to get less and less painful, i could move it a lot, and so i thought it was a small injury. however that evening it became very painful and had a throbbing pain, which later subsided. i noticed it was swollen. yesterday, i found there was less movement. most left hand movement, even if i didnt use or move the finger, would cause more pain. it wasnt too bad during the day, however last night the pain became almost unbearable when i tried to get to sleep. it is still quite swollen, red, hot, and there is very limited movement, and all movement is painful. at the time of writing, there is a dull throbbing pain
